The Iron Bowl 2016

Friends of mine who are Auburn fans talked a lot of trash last week, mostly because the Tigers’ defense has straightened up lately. But you can’t really do much with an offense that can’t score touchdowns. Needless to say, the Alabama Crimson Tide won. They will be undefeated when they meet the Florida Gators next Saturday in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Roll Tide!

Today, on my way to my brother’s apartment, I put in Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare. The title track struck me anew, and so that is what is now playing…
