New Music: The Lacs

I became familiar with The Lacs when they played some shows with Atlanta natives Almost Kings. They are an interesting — and fun — mix of country and hip-hop (“hick hop”).

The Lacs have described their new single as an anthem for riding high and living low. Check out “Willie Nelson,” featuring Nate Kenyon. The new album Dirt Rock will be available on May 4th!

On This Day: Kenny Rogers and Patsy Cline

On this day in 1938, Kenny Rogers was born! Happy birthday, Kenny!

Also on this day, though in 1961, Patsy Cline recorded her cover of “Crazy,” originally written and recorded by Willie Nelson.
